About Commonwealth Laboratories, Inc & Breath Tests

Commonwealth Laboratories, Inc. is a state and federally licensed clinical laboratory that specializes in testing for levels of methane and hydrogen in the breath. For Quality Assurance purposed, we also test for levels of Carbon Dioxide. The purpose of our testing to help aid in the diagnosis of multiple digestive disorders.

At Commonwealth Labs, we have constructed a mail-order laboratory business that allows physicians to simply fax us an order form; or give a patient a test kit that we can give physicians to keep on hand, and we take care of the rest.

We initiate the order and send a hydrogen breath testing kit directly to a patients home. We include in the kit an instruction booklet and pre-paid return shipping label.

The patient simply administers the test and returns the breath specimens to us via UPS. We analyze the specimen and report the result back to you, the physician; via fax or our HIPAA-Compliant, web-based reporting system.

We differ from other laboratories by way of convenience. We negate physicians from having to have their staff administer our test on their patients, or making patients physically go to a lab to donate their specimen.

In fact, all we ask from the physician is, if they have a patient who they feel could benefit from one of our breath tests, simply fax us an order form and wait for the result.
